Alternative Way to Setup Outlook (Windows)

- Right click on the Windows Logo at the bottom left of the screen.
- This will bring up a menu, click on "Run"
- This will bring up a text box, if it doesn't have it by default, type in "control" and hit "OK"
- In the window, you will want to click on "Mail (Microsoft Outlook)"
- In the next window, you will want to click on "Email Accounts"
- On the next window, click on "New" to add a new email to Outlook. If there is an email listed below, (for example if you added it before but changed the password and it doesn't work anymore) double click on it to bring up ALL of the relevant information for that specific email.
- In the new window, first click on "Manual setup or additional server types" and then the "Next > " button.
- First click on the "POP or IMAP" option, and then hit the "Next >" button
- THIS IS THE IMPORTANT WINDOW.
- Enter in your name
- Email address
- Change account type to IMAP
- Enter mail.echoes.net in the Incoming mail server box
- Enter smtp.echoes.net in the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box
- Enter ONLY the part of your email before the @ in User Name box
- Enter your password into the password box
- Click on "More Settings"
- Everything in the next three pictures should match except the first panel should have the customers email address. Do not forget to put "INBOX" for the Root folder Path.
- Click "OK" on the bottom right corner. and then "Next >". This will bring up a test and send a test email if successful.
